Hula

Introducing Hula, a new geometric fabric collection that explores pattern through printed linens, hand embroidery and, for the first time at Linwood, designs that unite both techniques. Drawing on archive references from the 19th century through to the 1930s, scallops, zigzags and stripes have been redrawn and repainted in our Hampshire studio, retaining the distinctive irregularity of the hand-drawn mark.

Screen printing, hand block printing and embroidery bring each design to life in a palette that moves from deep, saturated tones to softer, earthier shades. Pure linen and textured blended grounds lend warmth and depth, enhancing the individual character of each fabric.

Used alone or layered together, the collection brings colour, movement and visual rhythm to curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery.
