We understand that choosing the right fabric or wallpaper for your home is a big decision, which is why we offer a free fabric sample service through our website and any Linwood stockist.
We’ve made this process as easy as possible for you, when viewing any of our designs simply click the ‘Request a sample’ box to add a sample to your basket.
Once you’ve finished browsing and chosen your samples, click through to checkout where you will be asked to fill out your address details and email address. We give you the option to sign up to our newsletter during checkout.
Our fabric and wallpaper samples are sent by first class post either the same or next working day. We can send samples to the UK and Ireland, for international samples, please visit our international stockist's page.
Our fabric samples arrive in beautifully presented packaging with a personalised Look Book so you can see how your chosen fabrics look on furniture. Please note that samples should only be used as a guideline for shades and textures – for exact colour matching we recommend requesting a stock cutting from one of our stockists.

FAQs
When will my samples arrive? Your samples will be sent the same working day if requested by 5pm. If you order at the weekend or in the evening, they will be sent the next working day. All samples are sent by 1st class post.
What size are samples? We want you to be able to see as much of the designs you’ve requested as possible, so our sample sizes do vary. Designs with larger scale patterns are around A5 size and plain fabrics are around A6 size. With most sample requests you will also receive a custom printed Look Book, showing a large image of the design and how it will look when made up.
I want to see a bigger sample; how can I do this? Returnable samples can be requested through any Linwood stockist. Returnable samples are approximately 70cm x 70cm.
How can I request more than six samples? You can request more than six samples through any Linwood stockist.
Do you ship samples overseas? Please see our list of international stockists, if there isn’t a stockist listed in your country please email exports@linwoodfabric.com.
My samples haven’t arrived – what can I do? Please allow a week for your samples to arrive – if they don’t arrive after a week (or they’re very urgent), please call or email us and we’ll resend them for you.
