Design Notes
Printed on pure linen, Kyoto is inspired by an Uzbek block-printed design, reimagined in watercolour by Linwood�s Hampshire studio. At its centre, a striking flower-like motif, reminiscent of a waterlily, is encircled by a playful dotted border and framed by striped corners. Balanced geometry is softened by painterly edges and subtle shifts in colour, preserving the movement and individuality of the original artwork. The result is a confident statement printed linen fabric with an artisanal spirit and a distinctly contemporary character, suitable for curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery.
